'It’s about people redeeming
each other, getting past their own barriers and isolation to live with passion again and to re-engage in life, hopefully
in a more positive way. When we fail to deal with our own personal shadow defects, planetary shadow issues escalate and
we tend to get the corrupt governments, corporations and fundamental religions we deserve.
Setbacks create
chaos. Chaos results when the world changes faster than people are willing to change. I would say from what’s I have
learned that the Hero knows however, that our most authentic discoveries come from chaos, from going to the place that looks
wrong and stupid and foolish, that this breeds life - adventure, when order breeds habit - stagnation. We are in chaotic,
destructive times thanks to earthquakes, fires, oil spills, hurricanes and tornados, floods, climate change, wars, terrorist
attacks and global economic collapse just to name the ones that are making the headlines recently. Feelings of fear generated
by increasing uncertainty of what might be next are a natural result. With all the intensifying increasing chaos, unpredictability
and navigation through the unknown, it is easy to lose our center and perspective.
Joseph Campbell did not restrict
the term ‘hero’ to warrior or life-saver; he used it to describe anyone who had the courage to follow his or
her calling, obtain the necessary knowledge and skills, and then use that wisdom and experience for the benefit of his or
her people.
Campbell’s work inspired me to fight and tame my dragons, follow my passion, find my bliss
and reconnect to the hero. The treasure I found and share is this incredible synthesis of ‘maps to God material’
from which I created the Hero Series...
With a map and a teacher the hero’s journey is made simple and
becomes radically fast-tracked. '

Legendary Filmmaker, George
Lucas worked with Campbell's Map of the Hero's Adventure, which he weaved into his Star Wars films. Through film, Lucas
became 'mentor' to several generations of seekers worldwide, albeit largely on a very unconscious level.
With the Hero Series,
Dr Susie Anthony is now bravely taking this great work one step further. Susie has identified true modern day heroes from
all walks of life and is guiding these extraordinary people as to how to weave their own personal hero's journey story
and experiences into Campbell's prescription for what she terms 'conscious mythical living'.

What's the Vision behind the
Hero Series?
At a recent meeting with
the Hon Mr Al Gore, where he and Susie talked in depth about solutions to many of the challenges in our world today, he
confided in Susie that... ‘We need another hero generation’.
Susie agreed and then took action to
create THE HERO SERIES.
"We all have to somehow understand that history is presenting us with a powerful
and unique choice point. In ignorance, in separation from spirit - the hero inside, we have created a culture of distraction,
we haven’t been able to see the global writing on the wall. We have a planetary emergency on our hands in terms of
climate crisis. We have to find a way to create in everyone alive today a sense of generational mission. It’s Susie's
deepest and most profound wish that the Hero Series will help accomplish this by showing people how to embrace conscious
mythical living."
